Buffalo Racing in Chonburi 2012

One of the most popular events that is organized towards the end of the rainy season every year is the Buffalo Racing in Chonburi. This takes place in front of the provincial buildings. The festivities will run from 26 October to 1 November 2012. However, the popular buffalo racing takes place on Monday 29th October. As well as the racing there will be buffalo beauty contests, parades and sporting events such as climbing the greasy pole. Very Thai Exhibition in front of ZEN in Bangkok

One of the best books about Thai culture and life, Very Thai by Philip Cornwel-Smith, now has a photo exhibition in front of ZEN in Bangkok. The exhibition runs from now until 6th December 2012. ZEN is part of the CentralWorld complex and has easy access from BTS Chidlom. The free exhibition is outside so check the weather report first.
