The popular Thailand International Balloon Festival has been running every year since 2007. The festival has been held in different places, for example, Pak Chong, Ayuthaya, and Nakorn Nayok. At each venue there has been different themes and different kind of activities; Cowboy Country, Ayuthaya Heritage and Adventure Sports. This year the festival will be held in Chiang Mai and the theme will be the Glow Night. Visitors are sure to be amazed by the sky glowing at night as the balloons rise. Visitors are also encouraged to wear or carry illuminated accessories in order to be part of the event. There will be music, food, soft drink, ice cream, hot dog, games, Lighting show, Night Glow, Mass launching of hot air balloons, free tethered balloon ride for visitors, etc. It is the photogenic event of the year.
