The public are invited to attend the Candlelight Ceremony to mark HM The King’s 85th Birthday on 5th December 2012. This event, called The Prestige of Our Beloved King, will take place at the open-air amphitheatre of Benjakiti Park which is next door to the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The show will include “Extravaganza Water Curtain, Prestige Light Garden, Spectacular Fireworks and Live Performances by Renown Artists”. The event will be repeated for three nights though the first night will go on for longer. On 5th December it is from 6pm to 10:30pm. On the 6th and 7th December it is 7pm to 9pm.
The following is the schedule for the opening night which the prime minister will attend:
